Phillip E. Layer

Phillip Eugene Layer age 59, of Kettering, passed away on March 20, 2008 in Celebration, FL. He was born to the late Eugene R. and Margaret R. Layer in Middletown, OH. He is survived by his wife Sharon Layer; son and daughter in-law, Michael and Renae Layer; daughter and son in-law, Melanie and Mike Danber; grandchildren, Tyler Layer, Madison Layer, Kyle Danber, Caleb Danber; 4 nieces and 1 nephew. Phillip had worked for Armco Steel in Middletown, OH for 21 years, Micah Systems in Fairborn, OH for 10 years and is currently employed by Eli Lilly CO in Indianapolis, IN. He was a member of the Germantown Lodge #257 F & AM. A memorial service will be held at 11:30 am on Saturday, March 29, 2008 at the Tobias Funeral Home-Beavercreek Chapel, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Rd. A gathering of friends and family will be held from 10:30 am until the time of service on Saturday.
