I regret I never knew or met 1SG Skipwith in my travels. I can only share the feelings of condolence for his family and friends that so many have since his passing.
I pray 1SG Skipwith is granted eternal rest for answering his call to duty as well as he did during his service.
I offer thee following thought to his family and loved ones in closing, "It takes a special man or woman to sacrifice their comfort and safety for their country."

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Ps 46-1. Skip as we called him, was a man about business. He did our taxes for many years, he always had a smile and a good sprirt with him. He was my brothers best friend, and our whole family will miss greatly. Lawson/Floyd family,

We may shed a tear or two
When those whom we loved are gone
But God will wipe away those tears
And replace our tears with a song.
Mrs. Skipwith and family, I know God is with you and He will sustain you as you learn your new "normal". Be Blessed as you are and know God will never give us more than we can bare.
