Sharon, Scott, and Ryan,
I am so sad and deeply sorry for your loss. Rachel's work ethic, maturity and ability to be a great teammate were only a few things that made her special. Her beautiful smile is something I will always treasure. I always hoped that I was able to have some impact on players as they move on after high school softball, but have come to learn that I am the one who benefited greatly from what they taught me. I feel so lucky to have been a part of her life that has been cut way too short and am praying for you all.

So sorry for the loss of your Most beautiful daughter and sister. I only got to share time with her on a few occasions, one of which was John & Heathers wedding. Her warmth, kindness and radiant and infectious smile, left a lasting impression on me that I will never forget. She told me that I was the most beautiful mother of the groom, she had ever met. Little did she know, I thought the same of her, as the most beautiful person I had ever met, it's true. It's an honor to have known your Rachel. The world has undoubtedly, lost a beautiful soul but heaven has gained a genuine Angel. May you find peace and comfort in Christ, our Lord.

Scott, Sharon and Ryan,
I remember Rachel in her AJAA activities as one with a ready smile and concern for those around her. She was a true team player. Our team is now missing one of its valuable players.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I met Rachel at Rock Steady and heard a lot about her from Scott. She was a remarkable lady. I just cannot find the words to express my sympathy, but Connie Beery was able to perfectly express my thoughts. Keep strong and know that she was an inspiration to all.

We met Rachel just once at Rocksteady. But of course we heard about her many times from Scott and looked forward to eventually meeting her. Such an outstanding young woman! May the Spirit bring you comfort.

Dear ones, so sorry that our precious Rachel has left this world. It just breaks my heart that you have to go forward without her. Her love, her spirit, her joy was and will continue to be contagious. I'm so grateful we were able to spend some time with her at Rock Steady Boxing. She truly touched our hearts and made us better people. We promise you we will never forget her and will try to give joy to others the way she did. What a beautiful example she was to us of how to take a day at a time and never give up. Her cancer battle on earth is over but her sweet spirit and heart will contiue in each of you. We are praying and sending love since we cannot remove your grief or pain but please know we care deeply for Rachel's family and friends.

Rachel was in between our daughters, Danielle and Sabrina Long, in school at Avon. She played many of the same sports and we feel like we watched her grow up along with our daughters. Rachel was always smiling and brought joy just by being around her. She touched many more lives than she probably ever knew. Our sincere condolences go out to her family and friends.
