Ricky Lee Christy
60, of Indianapolis, passed away on Thursday, December 20, 2012. He was born July 25, 1952 in Indianapolis. Ricky worked in advertising pagination at the Indianapolis Star for 35 years until retiring earlier this year. He was a loving husband, cherished friend to many who called him "Little Uncle," and honorary member of GWHS Class of 1971. He is survived by his beloved wife, Portia Christy; mother, Ruth Christy; sisters and brothers; several nieces and nephews; his dog, Rosie; and cat, Sylvia. Ricky was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Christy, and grandparents, Bob and Anna Jellison. Visitation will be held Thursday, December 27, 2012 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. in Family Funeral Care , 5791 Rockville Rd., Indianapolis, where the funeral will be held Friday, December 28, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow at Floral Park Cemetery.
