Robert L. "Bob" Adamson
72, of Plainfield, went home to be with the Lord on Sept. 13, 2013 in his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born in New Richmond, Ohio to Howard and Evelyn Johnson Adamson. He married Terry Rowland on Jan. 29, 1988. Bob worked at CSX for 35+ years, retiring as a clerk in 2002 and after retirement worked part-time at Cummins Mental Health, as a van driver. He was a member of the Good Shepherd Baptist Church in Mooresville. He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Air Force and actively supported several military support groups. Funeral services will be held on Weds. Sept. 18, 2013 at 11 a.m. in Hall-Baker Funeral Home in Plainfield, with visitation one hour prior to service. Burial with Military Rites will follow in Maple Hill Cemetery in Plainfield. Additional visitation will be on Tues. Sept. 17, 2013 from 4 to 8 p.m. in the funeral home. Survivors include his wife, Terry Adamson; children, Beverly Adams (Jeff), Robert "Bobby" Adamson (Kim), Tammy Campfield (Dave) and Bradley McLaughlin (Debi); brothers, Ronald Adamson (Betty) and Dan Adamson (Barb); sister, Kathy McKinley (Richard); grandchildren, Siera Adams, Tylor, Josh, and Brittney Campfield, Sydney and Grace Adamson, Chloe and Olivia McLaughlin and Amiya Riddle.
