Robert Cecil Ashlock

Robert Cecil Ashlock, 78, Clayton, passed away Monday, December 15, 2003. He was a billet saw operator for Bridgeport Brass for 36 years, retiring in 1987. He was a member of the Life Tabernacle Church and was a mason with the Masonic Lodge #669 in Indianapolis. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Lois (Hacker) Ashlock. He is also survived by a son, Robert Jerry Ashlock; five daughters, Lois W. Garrison, Joyce D. VanZant, Barbara J. Craig, Stella M. Patrick, and Shirley N. Rickard; and 2 sisters, Pearlene Moon, and Murlene Maze; 13 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild. He was preceded in death by a son, Billy Gene Ashlock. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 20 at Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield where friends may call from 3 to 9 p.m. Fri., Dec. 19. Burial will be at Clayton (IN) Cemetery.
