Roger I am so grateful to have met you even though I only knew you a short time. You are such a loved person who touched everyone you met. I hope you can feel the outpouring of love for you that I have seen this week. You always made people laugh and smile and life would be a whole lot more fun if we all followed your positive example. We have lost a great one and you will be missed always. Rest in Heaven until we all meet again....

I worked with Roger for years at Sears. I don't think he ever met a stranger that he didn't make smile. He was kind, generous, and bubbly. I think it was his job in life to make others happy,he suceeded. You will be missed extremely, but never forgotten.

I just called transportation to check on Roger and see what address I could send a Christmas card to. I'm so sorry. All of my kids had him at one point or another as a bus driver. I even gave my son a bag of candy to give to his bus driver earlier this week, and he said, "no, not the sub. I'll give it to Roger when he comes back." I'm praying for you now.

Roger's great sense of humor and kindness is what I remember of this past neighbor and friend. Our families yards were back to back when we had little ones, the stories we shared! May your family be blessed with wonderful memories to comfort them at this time.
Blessings, Mary Candler

Roger was a great guy and always willing to help you out. He had a great sense of humor and really knew his stuff when it came to appliance repair. I pray God offers his family healing during this time. "Rest In Peace"
