Ronald Spratt Obituary

Ronald E. Spratt, Sr. Age 50, died Monday, January 17, 2005, at Community Hospital South. He was a resident of Indianapolis. He was born February 25, 1954, in Marion County Indiana. His father is Raymond E. Spratt of Indianapolis. He married Connie Mullins on February 24, 1979. She survives. Survivors include two sons, Ronald E. Spratt, Jr. and Brandon Marr-Cashion Spratt both of Indianapolis; two daughters, Ronda Spratt and Jamie Spratt both of Indianapolis; a sister, Rayetta Neeley of Indianapolis; eight grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother Beverly Rose (O'Neil) Spratt. He was a 1972 graduate of Pike High School. He was employed for 32 years by Marion County Sheriff's Department as a Communications Officer and held other positions with the Department throughout his career. He was Trainer for Marion County Sheriff Department in the communications department; Assistant Advisor to Indianapolis Police Department Explorer Post #435; member of Indianapolis Police Department Reserve Department; Past Master of Evergreen-Oriental Lodge #500, F&A.M, Indianapolis; Past Associate Bethel Guardian of Job's Daughters in Beech Grove and Franklin; member of Murat Temple, Indianapolis, 500 Club; and the Sahara Grotto serving as Past-President of the Mini Patrol. Chaplain Bacon will conduct a service at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 22nd at Forest Lawn Wilson St. Pierre, 1977 S St Rd 135 Greenwood. Friends may call from 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to Shelby's Shooting Stars co: Leukemia Lymphoma Association Indiana Chapter, 941 E 86th Street, Suite 100 Indianapolis, IN 46240.
