Rosalie Albright Obituary
June 10, 2000 - May 4, 2016. Our sweet Rosie passed away May 4, 2016 after a long hard fought battle with Cystic Fibrosis (CF). Rosie received a double lung transplant July 14, 2014 just 6 months after losing her older sister Melanie to the same disease. After an amazing 11 months with new healthy lungs, Rosie's body began rejecting her donor lungs.
Rosie was a lifelong resident of Avon. Rosie is survived by her parents R.D. and Aimee Albright of Avon, IN, her brother Adam Albright and Rachel Myers of Carmel, IN, 2 great grandmothers, 4 grandparents, 3 uncles, 2 aunts and 7 cousins. She was preceded in death by her older sister Melanie who also lost her battle to Cystic Fibrosis and 2 great grandfathers.
A memorial service for Rosie will be held at Harmony Baptist Church 5697 Broyles Rd, Avon, IN 46123 Sunday, May 15, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. There will be a receiving line following the service and a dinner for family and close friends. Memorial donation may be made to

What a Celebration of a wonderful girl and her family! Rosie and the Albright family have shaped my daughter's life for the better. I will always think of spunky Rosie when I watch the Tony Awards for the rest of my own life.

We, the families of The Compassionate Friends, send you our heartfelt condolences on Rosalie's passing.
The Compassionate Friends is an international grief support group for parents, grandparents and siblings who have suffered the heartbreaking loss of a child. Our only mission is to provide comfort, hope and support to every family experiencing the death of a son or daughter, brother or sister, or grandchild, and to help others better assist the grieving family.
We meet monthly on the first Tuesday at the First Baptist Church, 99 W. Main St, Greenwood, IN 46142 and on the third Thursday at the Faith Apostolic Church, 1212 E. 116th St., Carmel, IN 46032.
If and when you are ready to do so, please join us for either, or both, meetings.

I am glad I got to know this wonderful young lady, hear her sing, and hear her speak about organ donation.
She was very courageous and inspired many people. My prayers are with the family whose lives have centered around Rosie and Melanie for so many years.
