Telly Rogers Obituary
Plainfield - Telly F. Rogers, 40 of Plainfield, passed away February 24, 2018.
Born August 30, 1977 in Indianapolis, he is the son of Jeffrey J. and Pamela S. (Frederick) Rogers. He was a graduate of Plainfield High School and Rose Hulman Institute of Technology. He was a contract engineer for Subaru in Lafayette. Telly was a member of the Triangle Fraternity-RHIT and the Plainfield United Methodist Church. Survivors include his parents; son, Telly F. Rogers II; daughters, Lydia Rogers and Madison Twyman; companion, Amanda Schneckloth; grandmother, Mary H. Frederick; brother, J. J. Rogers and nephew, Carson Rogers.
Telly never met a stranger. He was an amazing father, loving brother and wonderful son. Telly was indeed one of the most caring, loving, goofy, generous and intelligent individuals any of us ever had the pleasure of sharing during his too short life.
Services will be at 11:00 am on Monday, March 5, 2018 in the Plainfield United Methodist Church, with burial to follow in Maple Hill Cemetery. Pastor Charlie Wilfong will officiate. Visitation will be from 4:00-9:00 pm on Sunday, March 4, 2018 at the church.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Madison, Lydia and Telly II Education Fund, 7588 E County Rd. 100 S, Avon, IN 46123. Hall-Baker Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Online condolences may be made at www.bakerfuneralservice.com.

The Compassionate Friends is an international grief support group for parents, grandparents and siblings who have suffered the heartbreaking loss of a child. Our only mission is to provide comfort, hope and support to every family experiencing the death of a son or daughter, brother or sister, or grandchild, and to help others better assist the grieving family.
We meet monthly on the first Tuesday at the First Baptist Church, 99 W. Main St, Greenwood, IN 46142 and on the third Thursday at the Epworth United Methodist, 6450 Allisonville Road, Indianapolis, IN 46220.

I would like to offer my sincere condolences to Telly's family. It is tragic to lose one so young, but Jeremiah 29:11 assures us God is thinking thoughts of peace towards us, to give us a future and a hope. But for now, may God support you at this difficult time.
