Thomas G. Williams 74, Logansport, died Tuesday, January 15, 2008, in Memorial Hospital. He was born March 20, 1933, in Washington, Indiana to Thomas H. Williams and Hazel (Lashley) Williams. Mr. Williams was the retired president of Logansport Savings Bank, where he had been employed for 42 years. Tom was a 1955 graduate of DePauw University, where he was a member of the varsity basketball team and Sigma Chi fraternity. He was a 1951 graduate of Washington (Indiana) High School. Tom was a well-known, active citizen of the Logansport community. He was a former president, treasurer and board member of the Cass County Chapter of the American Red Cross. Tom had also been active in the Cass County Mental Health Association and the Logansport Housing Authority. He was a former member of the Logansport Noon Kiwanis Club. He was an avid Logansport High School and Indiana University sports fan. Mr. Williams was a member of First United Methodist Church, where he had also served as past president of the board of trustees. He was a United States Army veteran having served during the Korean War era. Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Thomas T. and Paola Williams, Carmel, Indiana; daughters and sons-in-law, Natasha Williams, Carmel, Missy and Mike Harrington, Cincinnati, Ohio, Trisha and Scott Nahmias, Carmel, Indiana; sister and brother-in-law, Audrey and Bill Hart, Bloomington, Indiana; grandchildren, Christopher Williams, Tyler Williams, Addison Williams, Michael T. Harrington, Allix Harrington, Joseph Harrington, Eli Nahmias, Constanza Williams and Ignacia Williams; companion, Nancy Lambert, Logansport. Other survivors include, Dee Creamer, Logansport; Tim and Joni Lambert and Eric Lambert and Chad Lambert, Logansport, Mike and Michelle Lambert, and Nathan Lambert and Nicholas Lambert, Naperville, Illinois, Steve and Michelle Lambert and Hillary Napier, Stephanie Lambert and Natalie Lambert, Florence Kentucky; several nieces, nephews and cousins survive. Funeral service will be at 5:00 p.m., Saturday, January 19, 2007, at Kroeger Funeral Home, Logansport, IN. Officiating will be Rev. Bill Shannon of First United Methodist Church Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m, Saturday, January 19, 2007, at Kroeger Funeral Home.
