Timothy Iott Obituary

Timothy Lee Iott 53, Indianapolis, died May 17, 2004. Born on August 26, 1950 in Tecumseh, Michigan, Tim was a graduate of Monroe Catholic Central High School in Monroe, Michigan, and received a Bachelor's in Business Administration from Western Michigan University in 1972. He worked at Coopers & Lybrand CPA Firm, South Bend, IN; Georgie Boy Manufacturing, Edwardsburg, MI; Rytex Manufacturing, Indianapolis; and has been the Vice President and Controller of Crown Hill Cemetery for the past 14 years. Tim was a member and Eucharistic Minister at Holy Spirit at Geist Catholic Church, of The Knights of Columbus #6923, of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and Ironwood Golf Club where he was an avid golfer. He was preceded in death by his mother Marguerite; his sister Pat and his brother Jack. He is survived by his wife Sue M. Klauda Iott; father Francis C. Iott and stepmother Jo; son Scott Iott (Tobi); daughters Kelly Iott and Megan Iott; brothers Michael, Charles, Daniel, and Brian Iott; a sister Ann Iott-Uphaus; and one grandchild, Jackson Scott Drake. There will be visitation at Crown Hill Funeral Home on Friday, May 21st, from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. and a Funeral Mass at Holy Spirit at Geist on Saturday, May 22nd at 11:00 a.m., with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment services will follow immediately at Crown Hill Cemetery. The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be sent to Knights of Columbus Council #6923 or to Community VNA Hospice.
