I played in Walter´s 17 piece band. He was a nice guy and loved music. I thank him for trying to keep big band jazz alive and to have the opportunity to share some great times with him.

My sincere condolences to the family.
I was in the parish high school band with Mac in the'50s,he was first chair clarinet, and was a super musician. I often think of him when high school band is the topic. I think he attended Poydras high, I went to Livonia.

You will be in my heart forever Uncle Mack. You were always so kind to me, and I will never forget that infectious laugh/giggle of yours. I am picturing you back in the loving arms of your mom now with a huge smile on your face. Give my mom a big hug for me. Love always. ????
