William Darroca Obituary

William C. Darroca, MD

Peacefully left this earthly existence on December 7, 2011. He was born in Iloilo City, Iloilo, Philippines on January 19, 1921. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Concepcion Barrientos Darroca, his parents Ananias and Juliana Darroca; his brothers Gregorio, Pedro and Ananias. He is survived by his children Roberto (Jeanne), Geraldine (Richard Goeman), William (Jeanne), Gerard, and Christopher. Also keeping his memory are his grandchildren, Megan (Caleb Cooper), Todd, Danielle, Hannah, Dimitre', Alexis, Adam, and Nolan. William will be remembered for his dedication to his family, friends, and his patients.

Visitation will be at Conkle Funeral Home, Avon, IN on December 13, 2011 from 6-9 p.m. There will be a rosary service at the conclusion of visitation. Celebration of Life Mass will begin on December 14, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Susanna, Plainfied, IN. In lieu of flowers please make memorial donations to St. Susanna Parish School or the Alzheimer's Association. Online condolences may be shared at: conklefuneralhome.com.

Dr. Darroca was a wonderfully compassionate member of our staff at Central State Hospital, loved by patients and staff alike. He was so kind and gentle, he will truly be missed. -Pat (Holmes) Irwin, former CSH employee
