To the Ditchley family,
I had the pleasure of working with Bill for about 30 years. He was a great person to work with and always had a big smile on his face. One of my favorite things to do with him was to trade jokes, and have a few laughs. A (retired) printer at The Indianapolis Star.

The one thing I remember most about bud was his infectious smile and laugh. He seemingly was always telling some sort of silly joke. I remember as a child spending the night at the ditchley house and feeling like it was my own home. Bud loved his family dearly and always had a wink and a smile for ya.

Uncle Bud, Thank-you for all the happy times we shared throughout the years. A girl couldn't have had a better Uncle. I will miss you so very much, but will think of you and your infectious smile and keep you close in my heart. I am so glad we got to have a good conversation a few days before your passing, and thank-you for telling me how much you loved all of us. Those words, I will always remember. So, dear Uncle Bud, I hope you know that I love you, and that I will keep in touch with Aunt Thelma. Don't you and my Dad get into too much trouble up in Heaven. Hopefully, Grandma can keep you two in line ! Well, until we meet again…..many hugs. Your niece, Cathy
