Thoughts and prayers to the Huber Family. I met Al when he was bar tending at Chickie's, and we became friends instantly. It's a friendship that lasted 10 years, and was shocked and saddened when I heard the news just last night. I'll always remember the smile I got when I walked into Chickie's, and the seemingly never ending conversations. He will be missed by so many, and I am honored to have had his friendship. May he rest in peace, and his family find solace in knowing just how loved and respected he was, by so many.

To my wonderful childhood and life long friend Al I would like to say thank you for your friendship and for making the 80's such a fun time. People move, lives change, and time flies by way too quickly, but true friendships and memories live on forever. I'm so sad I didn't get to say bye, but it's not goodbye. Al we have been friends since we were 5 years old. We attend Stella Maris and the HS for creative and performing arts together, we shared many laughs amd memories through it all. I was lucky to have many good friends rowing up in South Philly and you were always part of the gang. You had a big heart and a big personality to go with it. You left us too early. To your family and friends you will be greatly missed. I will miss sharing old memories and reminiscing about old times. I was sorry to hear about Al passing. The best thing was that beautiful and easy smile he seemed to constantly have on. He was gorgeous both inside and out. Al was such a charming guy..I knew him through my circle of friends and Bears, and he also knew my dad...over the years whenever I would bump in to him, he would never forget to ask how my dad was doing..always so polite and a true gentlemen. So sorry to hear this and to his family.

I knew Albert from back in the day when we went to Stella Maris and were Alter Boys together. I was a year older then Albert but we did spend a lot of time working together.
I had not seen Albert for years, but then we ran into each other one night when he was bartending at Chickies and Pete's, it was like we had seen each other every day.
He was a great guy, always friendly, always had a smile on his face and he made you feel better about your self.
