My deepest condolences for the family. I will never forget the time he hugged me when I told him I had breast cancer and told me all would be okay. He was right. Loved hearing about my cancer genetic counseling cases. He was a gentle, humble man and a good listener. I was very lucky to have spent that time with him. God Bless his soul.

What an amazing person! I have had friends that have died from cancer, its one of the hardest things to watch someone go through. I am appreciative that Dr Knudson used his life to research this disease. I pray that during this time his family and close friends experience peace. phillipians4:7

To the Knudson Family, there are no words to convey our sorrow for you during these trying times. Alfred left a legacy of knowledge,written down and its pages wrapped and bound for many to read and research. Treasure your memories and, be assured that the God of Comfort has him tucked away in his memory as well.

My heartfelt condolences and preyers to his family and friends. I am sorry for your loss. Please know that I am grateful for the effort doctors put into finding answers to sicknesses. My sister die of cancer and I appreciate all the help that was available to her. Please know that all the good doctors does not go unseen, and our creator takes notice of that, (Psalm 144:3). "May the true God reward him for what he's done and may there be a perfect wage for him" (Ruth 2:12/ Isaiah 45:5). your family is in our prayers.
