Dear Andrew, It was an honor to be your godfather. It was a pleasure to be your uncle. I always thought of you as the "Gentle Giant". You were a person who was gentle of heart, always caring, concerned and compassionate. You were a giant in spirit, always striving to improve yourself and excel to the best of your abilties in all your endeavors. You taught me that the best things in life are the simplest things that we, in our selfish ways, tend to overlook and ignore. There is much to be said about the way you lived for and gave much for home, family and love. It is my sincere prayer, that you are at peace and united with Grand Dad Kolakowski, sharing that cup of coffee, or that slice of pizza on the road trip to heaven.

We were very lucky to have had Andrew in our lives. Andrew may have been a quiet person but his actions spoke volumes. He was always there for his family and I'm sure his friends can say the same. He will continue to be here. I picture him standing tall with a hand on the shoulder to support and comfort those who need him. And he will never be forgotten.
There are so many stories I want to tell but one of my favorite childhood memories is going baseball games with my dad(Paul), my Uncle Mike and my cousins Erin and Andrew. Although his physical presence will be missed I know he is watching the game just with better seats now.

Andrew, what a God sent blessing it was to have been honored enough to have been known as "Uncle Paul". Your quiet, unassuming nature and gentleness, spoke volumes of a young man who was physically and spiritually mature beyond his young years. You reflected proudly on your parents, your family, and your "bestest" friends Mark and Duke. Not many people can boast that they have known a young man who was as decent and always there as you were. You'll always be there in my prayers and thoughts along with all those who were fortunate enough to have met you, known you, and loved you.
