I go back to Korea when Andy (and his lovely wife) were dating. I was an announcer and Andy the director of several radio shows; he chose me to do a hour long ad-lib program on Saturday and left it pretty much up to Trent Roberts and I to bury ourselves or soar like eagles. Somewhere in between. I hope Allan will contact me--I would love to see him. I had dinner with them in New York I believe and may have seen the kids then along with Eun Joo. I never looked at him in his success as an icon but as a regular guy. HE had a lot of friends in Korea as well and a guy named Sysmanaksy was his closest buddy .

I remember meeting Allan Musser
in 7th grade at Pacific Beach Jr. High
in San Diego, California in 1974,
and us talking about Philadelphia sports,
the Tastycake sign on the highway near Veterans Stadium. As a lifelong Phillies fan, memories of listening to Andy Musser, Harry Kalas, and Richie Ashburn
while growing up, in college in Boston
on WCAU which carried a signal to New England, are memories I have always cherished.

I was on my way home from Philly when Schmidty hit his memorable home run in Montreal to clinch the division in 1980. What a great call Andy had;"He buried it". I almost wrecked the van. Thanks, Andy.

So long, Andy. Many a night I spent listening to the Phils while you were broadcasting in the side yard with my dad. Say hello to By, Whitey, and Harry for me. Go Phillies!

I am so sorry to hear about Andy's passing. He and my late husband, Ken Berman had many, many rides to the basketball games together, and they both enjoyed each other a great deal. He was always a gentleman. My sympathies are with your entire family at this difficulty time.

I always enjoyed listening to Andy's coverage of The Phillies.
With his passing, Philadelphia loses another "Giant" in the Sports Broadcasting World. I will miss him as well as countless of other Philadelphians and former Philadelphians do already.
Go with GOD and rest in peace forever and ever.

I have fond memories of listening to Andy Musser and Sonny Hill broadcasting 76ers games. Andy Musser really inspired me to play and listen to basketball. I liked his baseball play by play too. Very sorry to hear of his death. He and Scott Graham are/were my favorite announcers.
