Oh Jane my dear friend,
I am so sorry. I do not have any words to say that can comfort you or your family at this great time of loss. I know how much you will miss Mannero and I know how much you both loved each other. I true love story!! You and Tony have a wonderful family and great, devoted friends that will not only miss Tony, but will also be here for you!! I know Tony has many, many friends but I would like to send my condolences to two of hisvery best friends that I know will miss him each and every day - Dave Mallon and Jay Green and their families. Your loss and sadness is felt as well. Thank you to Mary, Eileen and Jackie for always being there for Jane and Tony. Your friendship should be recongnized because it makes the other friends like me, feel comforted that you are always there for Jane! They are blessed with friends like you! I grew up on Orleans Street with Tony and knew Jane since kindergarten - they were the best couple!! If it is any comfort Jane, just know in your heart how much Tony loved and adored you and how much you loved, cared and was devoted to him. True love never dies, it just is a little different when someone passes, but you can still feel the love and their presence. You know that you will always have your own personal Angel by your side and Tony will not suffer anymore. Do you think Tony has anything to do with the Phillies winning?? We know how passionate he was about baseball.... God Bless you all and hope to be seeing everyone in the future. Love you Jane and family! And sorry to Dave and Jay your sadness and tears is something that I will never forget . Hannah, your speech was so heart-warming and beautiful, you did a great job!- Tony will miss you all very much!!! God Bless you Mannero (Monopoly and homemade Pizza!!!!)

I'd like the memory of me
to be a happy one,
I'd like to leave an afterglow
of smiles when life is done.
I'd like to leave and echo
whispering down the ways,
Of happy times and laughing
times and bright and sunny days.
I'd like the tears of those who
greive, to dry before the sun
Of happy memories that I leave
When life is done.
Jane, You picked the perfect poem for Tony's cards. He always thought of others before himself. Never sat and whined about what happened to him. He would want all of us to smile and laugh at all the good memories we shared. Jane, You never ask for anything from anyone. I hope you know how much your friends and family love you. We are all here for you.

Dear Jane,

I'm so sorry for your loss and that I can not be there for the funeral. I'm afraid that we never formally met. Word in the family is that you are a wonderful person who was always very good to my cousin. I'm sorry that I did not keep very close touch once I moved away. You probably are more familiar with my brothers Ed and Bob as they were closer to Tony. Ed (who lives with me in TN now) is just ripped up about Tony's death. He loved him very deeply and is taking it pretty hard. My deepest sympathies to you Jane.

Dearest Tony:

I really didnt see you much when you got older. But I always loved you, You were always so sweet, so polite and loving ... not to say the most handsome little guy I ever saw..I know from family that you had the most wonderful wife in the world.
who stood behind you 100%. She took care of you with great love..I admire her.
I am so sorry your life was so short . But what you and Jane had was rare, most people dont have that in a lifetime.
Ilove you Tony and I will always remember you being young. ..

Dearest Tony,
We were all blessed to have you in our lives for as long as we did. You were the nicest looking guy in the neighborhood. You were kind, sweet and caring always. You were a good friend to me and my family. You were so blessed to have Jane in your life all these years. Even the doctor's said she was an inspiration to people at the hospital because she was there with you every single day. Her family was your family. All of them loved you as if you were their own. Gram adored you, and the nieces and nephews Loved you! You truly lived a normal family life with them. As little Keith would say "Uncle Tony is a handsome dude". lol.
I always loved you, and will remember you forever. When I think of you I will smile! xo Your Friend,
