I'd like the memory of me
to be a happy one,
I'd like to leave an afterglow
of smiles when life is done.
I'd like to leave and echo
whispering down the ways,
Of happy times and laughing
times and bright and sunny days.
I'd like the tears of those who
greive, to dry before the sun
Of happy memories that I leave
When life is done.
Jane, You picked the perfect poem for Tony's cards. He always thought of others before himself. Never sat and whined about...

Dear Jane,
I'm so sorry for your loss and that I can not be there for the funeral. I'm afraid that we never formally met. Word in the family is that you are a wonderful person who was always very good to my cousin. I'm sorry that I did not keep very close touch once I moved away. You probably are more familiar with my brothers Ed and Bob as they were closer to Tony. Ed (who lives with me in TN now) is just ripped up about Tony's death. He loved him very deeply and is taking it...

Dearest Tony:
I really didnt see you much when you got older. But I always loved you, You were always so sweet, so polite and loving ... not to say the most handsome little guy I ever saw..I know from family that you had the most wonderful wife in the world.
who stood behind you 100%. She took care of you with great love..I admire her.
I am so sorry your life was so short . But what you and Jane had was rare, most people dont have that in a lifetime.
Ilove you Tony and I...

Jane, I will forever remember Tony as the beautiful, sweet guy that he was, and you as the girl who loved him with all of your heart...we all have some really funny memories of the days back when, and if you ever need anything, you know you have all of us to turn to. Love, Barbara
