Anthony Skowron Obituary
ANTHONY P. L., 84, a distinguished World War II veteran of Cherry Hill, formerly of Collingswood, passed peace-fully on Tuesday Jan. 4, 2005 with family at home. Beloved husband of the late Jane Skowron (nee O'Byrne), loving father of Carla, Jo Ann, and Annamarie; also survived by granddaughters Suzanne and Ashley. He proudly served his country during World War II in the U.S. Navy where he was awarded the Purple Heart twice and a Distinguished Flying Cross for heroic action in combat. Viewing Sunday evening 7 to 9 P.M. and Monday morning 8:30 to 9:30 A.M. in THE SCHETTER FUNERAL HOME, 304 W. Route 70, Cherry Hill NJ. Mass of Christian Burial Monday 10 A.M. in St. Pius X R.C. Church, Cherry Hill. Interment Private.
