May I offer my sincere condolences to the family and friends of Judge Della Porta. I know that losing a loved one is not easy, but our faith in Gods promises can get us through difficult times like this. Please know that God cares, at John 6:40 he promises that one day we will see our loved ones again.

We were all blessed to have Dad as our father. I did not tell him enough of how fortunate we were to have him as our father. He came from Italy with nothing but the clothes on his back but he left us with virtues to last a life time.

Hello Armand and Debbi. We haven't gotten together in quite a while and it saddens me reaching out to you now under these sad circumstances. Armand, while l never personally had the privilege of appearing before your father, l know that he enjoyed a very good reputation and was well-respected in the legal community. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. With my deepest sympathy, Tony

I have had the distinct privilege to have known Judge Della Porta since I was 18 years old. While I went to high school with his son Peter at the Prep from 1971 to 1975, my interaction was more often through the Knights of Columbus. Judge Della Porta was a long-time member of my Council in South Philly, San Salvador Council #283, and we even honored him as a distinguished member when we held our 100th Anniversary in 1997. His presence will be surely missed. Our Council will honor him at our annual Memorial Day Mass, and our prayers are with his family at this time.

Dear Della Porta Family,
I regret that I am unable to attend the Judge's funeral tomorrow. He and Marie were always kind to me whenever we met and I know you all will miss him.
I will have a Mass at a Church in Reading in the morning and I will remember all of you. Your Honorable kin is now in God's gracious hands.
I look forward to seeing especially Armand at another time.

Please accept my sincere condolences extended to the family and friends. Among his many assignments, Jesus lovingly promises "to bind up the brokenhearted," and "comfort all who mourn."-Isaiah 61:1,2. Hoping these kind words bring a measure of solace during this time of mourning for you.

We were blessed to have Armand as a father and father-in-law. He was an excellent role model for us and our children - a kind, loving, giving man who loved and lived his Catholic faith! We miss you dad, but we know you are enjoying your heavenly reward.

What a special person. His accomplishments as attorney and judge were eclipsed only by his personal humanity and christianity, his wonderful wife, and his terrific family. Very one of us who knew you and worked with you have been made better for the experience. God rest your soul and bless you with His greatest rewards!
