I just want to express my sadness for the death of Arthur. I knew him a number of years ago and thought he was so funny and smart. I regret that we could not continue a friendship but I retain good memories of him.

Dear Steven and Andrew,
We learned recently of your Dad's passing.
Your Dad was a close friend of ours many years ago. Actually, he was an usher in our wedding.
We reunited some years ago and were able to catch up on our lives. He really lived a glorious life and, as they say, "did his own thing".
May his memory be for a blessing to your family and to the Jewish people.

Am deeply saddened to learn of Arthur’s passing while knowing he lived every day to the fullest. Yes, Arthur loved his “toys” but his pride and joy were always his sons, Steven and Andrew.
May you rest peacefully knowing you did your very best each day. It was my pleasure knowing you all these years.
Rest In Peace, my friend. See you in Miami!

After many interesting hours of flying with Arthur in his plane during 1995-97, he treated me to flying lessons. After many lessons, he celebrated my solo landing and we planned the trip across the Atlantic. I was his co-pilot. It was an unforgettable trip of a lifetime the summer of 1998. Arthur put in many hours of paperwork and phone calls to make sure we were safe and welcomed in the countries where we landed. We were joined, after crossing the Atlantic by Judy and Bill Schramm. Thanks to Arthur we will always have those memories and many more.

I was Arthur's personal trainer. Yes, he had one! I called him 'the Eveready Bunny', because he always, always, wanted to stay in the best condition he could, so he could keep flying. I wish him clear sky's and a smoothe ride.

I am one of the lucky aircraft mechanics who got to work on Arthur's gorgeous plane. The most striking thing about is that he has placed a small flag sticker for each country he had ever flown it too... there are dozens of stickers!
To say he was larger than life is an understatement. Arthur loved to fly and he loved to share the joy of flight with everyone.
I am so wholeheartedly proud i got to know him over the last eleven years while i cared for his plane, he even let me fly it a few times with him!
Godspeed, Arthur.... may you enjoy that runway to Heaven!

Arthur was my next door neighbor when I was little. He was as charming as his parents. They were lovely people and Arthur a lovely young man. May his memory be a blessing.
