THE REV. ARVID E., Oct. 29, 2012. Beloved husband of Nancy E. (nee Collett), loving father to Brent (Barbara), Ellen, and Bruce (Nancy) Anderson, grandfather of 6. Relatives and friends are invited to Arvid's Memorial Service Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012, 11 A.M. Upper Dublin Ev. Lutheran Church where friends may call 10 A.M. Int. private. In lieu of flowers contributions in Arvid's name to may be made to ELCA World Hunger, P.O. Box 71764, Chicago, IL 60694-1764 or Upper Dublin Ev. Lutheran Church, Built to Serve, 411 Susquehanna Rd., Ambler, PA 19002.

I was surprised to see Arvid's death. He has called me periodically to inquire about my parents--my father, Melvin Lofgren and he were the last 2 from their seminary class, and he was much more vital and alive than my father has been for years.

I cannot imagine how many people were touched by Arvid's fierce faith or gentle actions. I am glad I knew him.
