In memory to Dr. BARRY WEINSTEIN I had learned so much in his professional presence he had always displayed. Every now and then chair side he would share something of his family to which I was interested to learn. Dr. Weinstein mentioned his father was a furrier and how by coincidence his profession was a periodontist 'sutures'. I still think of him often and his loving family as well. RIP

Dear Eileen, Erica and Family,
Ellen and I reminisce fondly every time we ride by your Barry's office, about his kind and pleasant personality. 33 years ago he provided such gentle and attentive care to our 2 year old Andrew. We all joked he was "The Man" for years afterward. Love to everyone in remembrance today. Tom and Ellen Piskai

Dear Mrs. Weinstein and Erica: I am heartbroken having just learned today- April12,2018 of Barrys passing. I was a patient of Barrys for 26 years until he retired.
God broke the mold when He made Barry. A spectacular human being in every sense of the word. A fine, intelligent, skillful, thoughtful man, an outstanding doctor, a gift to us all.
I will lift you up in prayer for strength and comfort going forward knowing from experience the challenge such a loss creates.
And I will thank God continually for the blessing this mans life was to me.

I just learned tonight of Dr. Weinstein's passing and would like to extend my sincere condolences to his family. I was his patient for almost 15 years and, simply put, he was a fantastic doctor. I always referred to him as "a god among periodontists" because of the exemplary treatment he provided. His professionalism was only exceeded by his warm and caring personality. I was terrified before my first gum graft, but it got to the point where I looked forward to them because Dr. Weinstein made the experience comfortable and virtually pain free. He has left us much too soon, but he will be long remembered by the many people he treated.

Dear Mrs Weinstein and family: I just learned of Dr Weinstein's passing and send my deepest condolences. He was such a great periodontist and a gentle, kind and caring person. I always appreciated his follow up from surgery call. He often spoke to me about his daughter and was so proud of her studies and accomplishments. He will not be forgotten. May you find comfort in these tough days.

Our deepest sympathies to Mrs. Weinstein, Erica and extended family. My wife Theresa, has been a patient for about 25 years and always felt comfortable. His caring during a procedure, and calling afterwards to check on any pain issues were appreciated. When I developed an issue, he fixed it in two sittings. I was amazed, and relieved, after putting off for many years. I too recognized his complete competence, caring, and gentle nature. He will be sorely missed, but not forgotten.

Dear Eileen, I just learned of Barry's passing from Marci. I am so so saddened. He was such a doll and so much fun. We had great times with you two, with Marci and Danny, at their home and in Cape May. I'm glad that my Barry took home your Barry's shoes from the beach that time. You two were great sports when I mailed them back to your house, with sand. Sending you and Erica all our love, hugs and kisses.

Eileen,
I was so saddened to hear about Barry's passing. We worked together many years ago at Schneider Periodontal Associates (office of Dr. Dan Schneider & Dr. Arnie Freedman). The days that Barry worked with me here were always exceptionally pleasant and he was so upbeat to be around. He was a very skilled periodontist and was a kind and gentle man. I truly regret not speaking with him in the past couple of years although I did have the opportunity to refer a patient or two to his office when they moved out of Northeast Philadelphia.

I wish you strength to get through this very difficult time and hope that the beautiful memories you made together will comfort you. My sincere sympathy on your loss.

I was so sorry to see the information about Dr. Weinstein's passing in the newspaper. I started going to see him in 1989 and he performed many gum graft surgeries on me over the years. He had suggested that I get braces in 2016 shortly before he retired and I am now almost finished my time with braces and really missed not being able to talk to him about it in 2017. What I appreciated the most about Barry was his upbeat attitude and interest in hearing how the family was doing. When I got pregnant in 1989 shortly after going through 3 gum grafts, Barry provided the cutest clothes for my son after his birth in the spring of 1990 - going way above and beyond the role of a periodontist. As my brother-in-law had done work on the office at the time that he opened his practice, Barry would always check in on how things were going with them as well each year when I came for my check up. Barry truly was one of the only medical professionals that I would recommend to anyone seeking a periodontist without any reservations. I wanted you to know how much he was valued as a wonderful periodontist and person.
