Dear Felicia, I'm sure you know how saddened I am to learn of Bernie's passing. He was a really wonderful guy, loved and respected by so many, including Bob and me. Now most of our unique band of Munger Men have passed on. But we'll keep them in our hearts, still young, strong and beautiful.
My love to you.

So sorry to hear of Uncle Bernie's passing. You have my deepest sympathy. My greatest memories remain from my summers spent in Maine and at Camp Kennebec and remember Uncle Bernie as a real gentleman and a friend. He will be sorely missed and will always keep his memory.

Dear Felicia,
I had the distinct pleasure of meeting Bernie several times at Franklin Field and at the Inn At Penn. I will always remember him as a great gentleman with his warm, kind, friendly smile and firm handshake. Penn has lost a true treasure and valued ambassador. All Penn Quakers share in your loss. I will continue to look to my left at his spot in Franklin Field with fond memory and reverence for a good friend.

On behalf of the Camp Susquehannock family we offer our condolences to the entire Lemonick family. Bernie was a fixture at Susquehannock for many years, and those of us who knew him will miss him. I personally often crossed paths with Bernie at University of Pennsylvania sporting events. We raise a "highball" to your memory Bernie!

The Lemonick's,

Your father doesn't know this, but he single handily changed my life forever. I am the man I am today because of my 9 years spent at Kennebec. He will forever be in my thoughts and I want you all to know that you are in my prayers today. "Kennebec Was a Dream, a Dream Come True"!

I can still see the man in that photo walking into my parents' living room and convincing a kid to go to Camp Kennebec, even though that kid was terrified of the lake because there were fish in it.

He taught me how to shake hands - a lesson I've carried with me ever since.

Best wishes and happy memories of Uncle Bernie.

Dear Aunt Flea, Jim, John and Julie,

I am very sorry to hear about the loss of Uncle Bernie.

He owned Kennebec during my formidable years when I was a counselor and trip leader.

As a very young man and growing up at Kennebec during those summers, 18-23 years old, Uncle Bernie always treated me with the utmost respect and he always very fair.

I think about Kennebec every day and Uncle Bernie is always a part of my fondest memories of Camp.

Sincerely,
David C Kendig
