Betty Meek Obituary

BETTY JO, 68, of 71st Ave. N., wife of James L. Meek of Myrtle Beach, SC, died Saturday, Jan. 3, 2004 at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center. She was born Sept. 30, 1935, a daughter of the late Joel Burt and Vivian Calvert Signor. She was preceded in death by a brother, Jack Signor. Mrs. Meek was Owner/ Operator of Dean Moburg and Associates. She was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church in Myrtle Beach, SC. Survivors also include her son, William Meek and wife, JoDee of Everett, WA., daughter, Marguerite and husband, Dr. Jack Herchold of Glendale, AZ, 2 brothers, William Signor of Myrtle Beach, SC and Robert Signor of Tomball, TX, 5 grand-children, James, Jeffrey and Jillian Meek, Timothy and Mark Herchold. Memorial Service will be held on Friday, Jan. 16, 2004 at 11:30 A.M. at Christ Church Episcopal, Ridley Park, PA. The family will receive friends following the Service. Memorials may be sent to The Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, PO Box 650309, Dallas, TX 75265-0309 or to The American Lung Association, 1941 Savage Rd., Suite 200-A, Charlestown, SC 29407.
