BRADFORD C., of Huntingdon Valley PA, on April 14, 2008. Beloved son of Kenneth G. Bastian and Debora A. (nee Gring) and James M. Flanagan; dear brother of Patricia and Kathryn Flanagan; grandson of David and Dorothy Gring, James J. and Eleanor Flanagan and the late Frank and Marjorie Bastian. Family and friends are invited to Brad's Funeral Mass Thursday, 10 A.M., at St. Hilary of Poitiers Church, 820 Susquehanna Rd., Rydal PA 19046. Int. private. In lieu of flowers, a donation in Brad's memory to Horsham Clinic, 722 E. Butler Pike, Ambler PA 19002, would be appreciated by the family. Family Service by DEAN/GEITNER/GIVNISH OF FOX CHASE.....215-745-1006.

I still think about you. I havent physically seen you in over 20 years but I still think about you and actually told my son about you the other day at the McDonald's drive through. That is how much of an impact you had on me. On a lot of people. I pray that you are at peace and that you somehow know how much love people here on earth still have for you.

Bradford, with the love and kindness, strength and courage of King Raam. haha. I was recommending some old Sigur Ros to my little sister and it made me think of you. I told her about the first time we hung out, then I watched that video and sat here and cried, just like that first time. It was almost like you were here in the room with me. I miss you so much man, like all the time. Sometimes you show up in my dreams and we run around Philly being silly like we used to. Something today made me google your name and I'm glad I did. I'm glad I found this. I love you dude. I still talk about you all the time and tell all my favorite people about how you were THE COOLEST and how amazing you were to be around. Thanks for popping up from time to time to say hi -- still. It means more than I can say.

To my dearest grandson "BRAD" - Hopefully by now you have found your pop-Pop up there in your beautiful home - He will be so happy to connect with you - My two saddest days have been you going home and Pop-Pop going home - Oh, how I miss you both - but you both are now at peace but that doesn't make my two darkest days feel any better. Still confused and still here. I listen to your advice and wish I knew why i have to stay. I am trying but it's never the same as our time we had. Change has taken so long but because of you I am able to stay strong. I will find whatever it is and show you when we meet again. I've looked at this book so many times, but I could never think of the right words to say. I miss you, my friend. There are so many things that I want to talk about with you, and there are so many things that I wish we could share. I can't imagine that you are gone from here until the end, and that I won't see you until it's all over. By gods, you will have a line of people waiting to talk to you that day. Here it is August 2010 and the summer is quickly passing us by. Where has time gone my beautiful incredible son! I don't know why but I have been thinking about Bradford a bit as of late.
We were members of a online community called Jediism. (not like jedis with lightsabers) it is a reglion that allows us all to try and look deeper in everything and get a better understanding.
Brad was a pre-apprentice, A student without a teacher. Not because the mentors did not want him, a lot did, he told me once "im waiting for the right Master" he also told me he wanted to attain the rank of Master himself.
I know it may not mean much to some but we have promoted Brad to the highest rank of Master.

It's been 8 years since I have seen Brad. I moved acorss the country and when I returned to Philadelphia, we had grown apart. I feel so guilty that I did not stay in touch with him. To his family- I can only imagine how much this must hurt, even now. Losing a child/son/friend is a wound that never fully heals, but gets better with time. My deepest sympathies go out to you. I stil have letters that he wrote to me in high school when we dated. I'll never meet anyone like him, he was truly an amazing person. I miss him and pray for him everynight, since I learned of his passing.

As a member from the LS1Tech.com community, I would like to extend my heartfelt sympathies to the family and friends of Bradford.
Though never having actually met, we shared many jokes and laughs over the online gearhead community.
Bradford was just the kind of guy that you could talk to for hours and he'd make you smile and laugh with his quick wits and sharp quips.
I know how a community of car fanatics tends to take care of one of their own and there will be a place on the forum that will never be filled; Diolar (as we knew him) was often imitated, but never duplicated.
We had discussed a meeting of members in the regional area and unfortunately, it never came to fruition. So may I postumiously raise a glass to honor our plans to "share a beer" in the futures, only instead of on this world, in the confines of heaven where God has called him home.

I remember meeting you for the first time off of 1960 here in Houston when you had arrived into town. From school to meets, to trips to my brothers place in Austin. These times can never be replaced. You will be missed my friend.
