Brian will never be forgotten. Brian's love of his faith, family and his relationship with co-workers were strong. Brian was a great family man. I remember when he sent me a picture of Elizabeth's wedding, it was a very emotional day for him, giving his daughter away in marriage. He was so proud. On Elizabeth's wedding day, he felt so proud to walk her down the aisle. Brian was a big man but on Elizabeth wedding day, he was a giant. Brian's sense of humor, his big smile and caring ways will live on forever. I was fortunate to know and work with him. Hard to believe he got his Angel wings 3 years ago. I am sure Brian is watching over his family from heaven. God Bless

Dear Diane,
I am so, so sorry to hear of the passing of your husband Brian. I had no idea that he and my husband Del went to Lehigh together. Del played on the baseball team while Brian was on the football team. That never came up in our conversations while I was your moms nurse at BMMSA. You have had 2 unbelievable losses and you are completely in my thoughts and prayers. We were away until this past Sunday and only just heard the news. We would have come to pay our respects for Brian and your entire family. Please know that we will continue to pray for you daily. Love, Maureen

I knew Brian many years ago in the early '90s when he worked for First Valley Bank. I was the controller for a company in Radnor and he was our banker. He was always so nice and easy to work with. When I read the article, I recognized his name, but when I saw his smile in the picture, I knew for sure. He was always such a happy guy. I am so sorry to read this terrible news. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

I grew up with Brian and the Zwaan family. We went to St Denis and played football. Great person and a terrific family a lot of good memories. He loved the Boss! I haven't seen Brian in many years but this is tragic and my family and I are saddened.

My condolences to all of the Zwaan family; the world lost a truly great human being way too young. I had the privilege of working with Brian at First Pennsylvania Bank in the 1980's, and he was a bright star from the start of his career and the star continued to get brighter. He was smart, fun, caring and everything you would want as a friend and co-worker.
He will be missed and never forgotten.

Difficult to put into words. Brian was larger than life, a very clear loud distinctive voice with a hearty laugh and great sense of humor. I worked with Brian when he was starting his banking career. He was aggressive, intelligent and knew what he wanted. He achieved so much, it was fun watching his success through the years. He had a great sense of humor. One year at the bank, he and another co-worker put our Christmas tree up( upside down). we all had a good laugh and then they took it apart, it put it up the right way. He called me Mom and our friend Carol, Aunt C. I am very sorry for your loss and the loss to his community and his friends. I am praying for all of you during this difficult time. God Bless betty
