CARLOS JOSEPH
of Haverford PA, died on Jan. 20, 2017. Husband of the late Juanita Heckel Alvare' and father of Gigi Alvaré, Charles Alvaré, Philip Alvaré and Jeannine Alvaré Goodwin; also survived by 3 grandchildren: Elias, Asher and Anaia Goodwin. His Funeral Mass will be held on Fri., Jan. 27th, 10:30 A.M., at Our Mother of Good Counsel Church, 31 Pennswood Road, Bryn Mawr PA 19010, where you may call after 10 AM. Int. Calvary Cem. Contributions may be made in his memory to Penn Wissahickon Hospice 150 Monument Road, #300, Bala Cynwyd PA 19004.

Dear Cousins Gigi Guer, Phillip and Janinine,
I am sorry to hear of Tio Carlos passing. You have my condolences. Carlos was always very special to me; he always encouraged me to be an artist.
But what I loved about your father most: he made me laugh. His sense of humor was fabulous. I think that's why he and my father were such dear friends.
