Carol Schoeniger

Schoeniger Carol A. (nee Chesterton) Of Chalfont, age 85, Aug. 18, 2022. Daughter of the late Stanley and Mathilde (Silber) Chesterton; proud and devoted mother of Scott (Jill), Steve (Leslie) and Eric (Jill); doting and much-beloved Nana to Autumn, Steven, Spring, Grace and Miles; cherished brother of Keith (Doris); dear aunt of Brian and Wendy, and great-aunt of Asia. Carol loved gardening, nature and travel, but most especially her artwork. Having attended Moore College of Art in the 1950s, Carol became an avid watercolorist and pastel artist. A long-time member of Doylestown Art League and other artist groups, she was featured in many group and solo exhibitions and received numerous awards and honors. She worked as activities director for Artman Assisted Living in Ambler and for decades volunteered teaching art classes to scores of appreciative students. Relatives and friends are invited to greet family Sept. 17, 2022 from 10 A.M.. until the Memorial Service at 11 A.M.. at JOSEPH A. FLUEHR III FUNERAL HOME, 241 E. Butler Ave., New Britain.
