John, I'm very sorry for your loss. I remember Caroline with affection. She was a warm friend and a valued colleague. I was always glad to visit her at the Beaver campus and to see her at University Park for a meeting or a conference. She clearly was happy to be with her English colleagues. She discussed her work on Ariel in Sylvia Plath with passion and pleasure. And she had a great laugh. A great laugh. I will miss her.
Warm condolences,
Richard

Dear John, Only one week to get to know you and Caroline in Maine that changed my life. Meeting my "soul sister" Ms. Caroline and her knight John! The connection was a blessing to me. I only wish I had more time to spend with you two. She inspired me and I will miss her...always connected to my heart.
