I just got dental insurance again after several years, so googled Dr. Hirsch to see if she was still practicing, and was so sad to see this obituary in the results. Dr. Hirsch was so kind to me and I never forgot it. Yes, she was very direct, but it always came from a place of caring. She wanted to give her patients her best, no matter who they were-she didn't discriminate. I was poor but she treated me with dignity and respect and I will always remember that. My heartfelt condolences to her husband and son, and to Dawn, her longtime assistant. Dr. Hirsch: thank you you for making a difference in my life.

Sadly, I recently heard that Dr.Charlene Hirsch passed away. I can not even get through the first sentence of this testimonial because my eyes are filled with tears. Hearing of her passing is profoundly heartfelt for me. For the past 10 years, I had the opportunity and such pleasure of knowing Charlene, personally and professionally. Her office was located just one block from my residence. She truly was a wonderful lady, excellent dentist, great friend and honorable business woman. I will always hold her in high regard. Peace be with you Charlene. :(((?

Charlene was recommended to me about 25 plus years ago. Not only was she my dentist but she became both my daughter's dentist. We shared a lot of experiences good and bad. She has me so spoiled I don't know what I'm going to do for dentistry. She was just that good!! I will also miss her staff Dawn . What a credit to her profession. Her integrity will be sorely missed.

Dear Bruce and Joel,
Word of Charlene's passing has spread around the nation. I learned about it this week in the middle of a work day here in Seattle via a friend in Minneapolis. I was shocked and so very sad. I'm thinking of you both and remembering Charlene fondly. I visited her at least twice a year for some 20 years before moving out of the region. I always felt confident that I was in good hands with such a highly trained, superior professional. I referred many friends and colleagues to her and they also became fans. She mentioned you both often and I met you both in passing on a number of occasions. I can't imagine your loss. She had wonderful energy, always offered interesting conversation and was so very competent at everything she undertook. I hope it provides some comfort to know she made such a positive impact on so many.
