KIRKCHARLES, age 88, on December 2, 2015. Beloved Husband of the the late Marian T. (nee Culligan), devoted father of James Kirk (Anne Marie) and Regina Strupczewski (Gregory). Dear grandfather of Matthew, Paul (Katyana), Patrick (Liz), Michael, William and great grandfather of Margoux. Relatives, friends, fellow members of the Phila. Police Dept. are invited to his viewing Wednesday 9 A.M. in Resurrection of our Lord Church (Castor and Shelmire Aves.). Funeral Mass will begin 10 A.M. Int. Holy Sepulchre Cem. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Joseph's Manor 1616 Huntingdon Pike, Meadowbrook, PA, 19046 would be appreciated.

Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal. The members of our CopNET family would like to thank Charles Kirk for his dedication and service to the citizens of Philadelphia. The passing of Charlie will be broadcast to our 3,206 members shortly and we would like to extend our sincere condolences to his family. His absence from our ranks will be deeply missed by the remaining members of Philadelphia's Finest who were fortunate to have served with him during his police career. He will continue in our thoughts and prayers during our remaining days. "Until we meet again, may God Hold you in the palm of his hand. " . . .

I have so many fond memories of my Uncle Charlie, and very sad to hear of his passing. I wish I could be present to celebrate his life with the family.
