CORNELIA DEGERBERG Obituary
She is survived by her children Phillip Lyford (Mary), Rebecca Lyford (John Newman), Roger Lyford, George Degerberg (Virginia), Katherine Degerberg (John Parker) and Mary Leyden (James), her stepson Gunnar Degerberg (Ron Browning), her seven grandchildren and her two great-grandchildren. She is pre-deceased by her husband of 39 years, Robert Degerberg, her son Jerome Lyford and her stepson Kristopher Degerberg. A celebration of Connie's life will be held on Saturday, March 19th at 3 P.M. at the Merion Cricket Club in Haverford, PA. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made to Main Line Meals on Wheels.

As a former neighbor and babysitter for Mrs. Degerberg, I am so sad to read of her passing. She was fun, always smiling and laughing. I loved being around her. My condolences to you all, especially George, Katherine, and Mary. The photograph here captures her perfectly!

I was sad to read of Connie Degerberg's passing. I knew her briefly as a friend of her daughter Rebecca many years ago. She was always friendly and welcoming, easing my comfort among the guests at some family get-togethers. She even gave me a beautiful signed Degerberg painting. My condolences to Rebecca and family.
