I'm sorry I lost touch with Dana over the years. It's hard to imagine that she's gone from this earth- on to better - but I'll always cherish the memories I have of her and all our friends through college and after. It's a time in my life I will always remember fondly, and Dana was a big reason why. You'll be missed.

My dear little sis: we've been by through a lot, this last year and a half was rough. But you taught me grace, humility, and most of all to keep your humor. You are my hero, best friend, sister, and pseudo daughter since we lost mom all those years ago. I love you so much that I let you go with mom since I had 43 good years, it's mom's turn to have you now, it's like I told you on Thurs, I'm a great sharer and I'll always love you.

I met Dana for the first time in the summer of 2001. Both Dana and her sister Dellane were invited to an American Bandstand Reunion at 46th and Market Street in Philadelphia, Pa. Their mother Pat was one of the original 'Regulars' who danced on AB during the 1950's. Dana, you are now with your mother, wrapped tightly in her loving arms. Sending my sincere condolence and prayers.

Dear Dana,

GOD definitely gained an Angel tonight that's for damn sure. I'm so sorry to hear of your passing but I'm glad you are no longer in pain or suffering anymore. Rest in Peace Dana and God Bless. I truly wished I had gotten more time to spend with you but the time I did get to spend with you I will treasure forever, you were and still are an awesome, fun and amazing human being. You were so much fun to be with, I always loved hanging out with you even if it was only an handful of times. It was a pleasure, honor and privilege knowing you, Dana. You were and still are one HELL OF A STRONG AND BRAVE WOMAN and I will certainly miss you and will never forget you. I was lucky enough to have crossed your path here on Earth, I'm so proud to say I knew you and had the privilege of knowing you! Glad to have had you in my life even if it was for a short time and even though we didn't spend that much time together, the time we did share together was very special to me and I will hold those memories and you very close to my heart. Love you Dana. Please know I'm sending healing prayers and thoughts and tons of love to your children, granddaughter, boyfriend, sister, father and all your family and friends. Also please know my life was dearly touched by the presence of you in my life.

Love, Amy
