I remember riding with Dan in his truck as he showed me his favorite fishing spot on Brigantine Island. We drove out onto the sand along the surf, some 15 years ago.
Belinda and I had spent the night with my cousin Patty and Dan at their home after driving over from Philly.
Rest in peace, my friend.

Dear Pat and Children,
I am saddened to hear of the loss of my friend and brother firefighter. Dan and I met in fire school and continued that friendship as members of Engine 71 for several years. We made quite a few trips to Poconos for deer hunting and one time we actually came home with 2 deer. Our paths last crossed in Brigantine some years ago. I wish they had crossed more often. May he rest in peace.

So sad to hear about Danny. We rode together to the Fire Academye each day when we started our careers with the Phila. Fire Dept. Danny was a real funny guy. We had a lot of good times together, including deer hunting. My heart goes out to Pat, their girls, and the rest of the family.
