In a brief lifetime if we are fortunate, we encounter someone along the path who changes us and allows us to become different and better people.
Dave Cox was one of those rare individuals who reached deep into my soul and challenged me to think anew and become a much more sensitive and aware person.
I was his teacher, but very soon he became mine as we shared deep thoughts about the nature of reality...his personal quest.
Over the past 17 years our friendship grew and the discussions were incredible to me...some of the best of my life. Anyone who was privileged to know Dave, his talent and his intellect, was given a life gift beyond all others.
I will forever keep Dave's memory alive. I was honored to know this amazing man . Some day when I cross the line, I will find him and we will continue all those wonderful talks from where we left off.
My deepest condolences to his beloved Nina and Finley and to family and friends who are so deeply affected by this loss...
Rest in eternal peace my incredible friend.

My best memories of David include our taking long walks discussing philosophy and life (our peripatetic experiences)--interesting because there is about a 40+ year age gap between us! Best hopes and prayers for his family and other friends.

We are devastated to hear this news and send love and healing energies to the whole family. David was such a loving, sensitive and talented person. His artwork is a testament to the depth and beauty in his soul, and I will miss our conversations. Our hearts go out to all his family and friends. So very sorrow for all you are enduring.
