DAVID EGAN Obituary
He is survived by the love of his life and wife of 49 years, Veronica Egan (nee McMurtri), his son David, daughters Kara, Kathleen and Maura, daughter-in-law Madeline Egan, sons-in-law Migue deJong, Scott Taylor and Justin Stefano, his two siblings Gerard Egan and Patricia Gilroy, three grand-sons: David John, William, Michiel, many nephews and nieces and countless friends. He is predeceased by his father, David Egan, Sr., his mother Edna Egan (nee Bateson) and his sister Carol McKeon. His Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 A.M. Thursday morning, August 6, 2015 at St. Patrick Church, 212 Meredith Street. Kennett Square, PA. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Autism Society of Baltimore-Chesapeake, P.O. Box 10822, Baltimore, MD 21234. Online condolences may be made:

I just heard of Dave's passing and I am saddened. I first met Dave in 1988 when I started working at Yokogawa. He was the utmost professional, a gentleman and a friend. Dave and his partner Charlie did allot to assist me and my efforts. My deepest condolences to the Egan family and our friends at Cemtech.

Having met Dave over 30 years ago, he was one of many suppliers of equipment I purchased. But unlike most of my suppliers, Dave was also a good friend. I will miss talking with him. My condolences to the entire Egan and Cemtech families. Charlie Beaver, Vice President, Tescor Inc.

Dave was one of the most memorable members of the Bonner Class of 1965,of nearly 900 boys. Back then, he would always ask: "Rich, do a story on me." But years later, his wisdom and counsel made a difference in my life. His life deserves more than a newspaper story.
