david was my best friend in high school- although I have not seen or spoken to him in many years-those were some of my favorite years-we were together at his house with his mom when neil armstrong landed on the moon-i remember him throwing rocks at my windows at all times to get me to come outside-i remember playing football and basketball with him till it was dark-he thought i had great hands in football -he was my quarterback--we laughed a lot --memories are the real things in life --david blumberg MD

I worked with Dave for many years at Lankenau and was always impressed with his compassion, dedication, clinical acumen, humility, professionalism and bedside manner. But what I most appreciated on those long, busy nights in the ER was his irreverent, somewhat sarcastic sense of humor. A 3 AM repartee with Dave always seemed to lift my spirits some . . . if only for a short time! My thoughts and prayers are with David - may he rest in peace - and the entire Grossman family.

I had the honor and privilege to work with Dave at Lankenau for many years. He was a great doctor, and even a better man. During our time together he was smart and focused on providing the best care possible to all his patients, sometimes in some very difficult circumstances. Throughout it all he maintained his human side, showing compassion and caring, and sometimes a little levity. He will be missed. My condolences to his family and his Lankenau family.

`Worked with "Dave" Dr Grossman at Lankenau from 1997-2011- honor to work with such a smart but sometime quirky individual- always knew the answer to the question but never backed down when the staff razzed him for his " old time" methods- will be sorely missed

Dr. G was a wonderful man. I worked with him at Lankenau for almost 11 years. He taught me a lot about life, and getting through the loss of my Dad. He spoke often about the love of his family and the OBX. His presence will certainly be missed in the world.
