EDGAR BARCLAY "CHIP" CALE III

CALE EDGAR "CHIP" BARCLAY, III Of Wayne, PA, passed away at the age of 61 on June 16, 2025. He was the cherished husband of Michele (Parks) and devoted father of Lawson. Chip was the son of Margot Rowley (Chandrakant Gupta) and E. Barclay Cale, Jr. (Marilyn Chambers) and brother of Laura Adams of Denver, CO and Christopher Cale of Media, PA. Raised in Wallingford, PA, he graduated from Nether Providence High School and the University of Pennsylvania. He received a law degree from the University of California, Berkeley. He was an Associate General Counsel and Vice-President with GSK. He worked in Philadelphia, Brussels and London. More recently he was General Counsel of Passage Bio in Philadelphia. Chip traveled extensively with his wife and son. He loved skiing in CO, sailing his boat the Golden Horn on the Chesapeake Bay with his brother and spending summers in Stone Harbor, NJ. However, being a father and mentor to Lawson was Chip's greatest joy and achievement. The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, July 18th at 10:00 A.M. at St. David's Episcopal Church, 763 South Valley Road, Wayne, PA 19087.
