Aunt Elaine, Eddie, Dennis, and Kevin, I was saddened upon hearing about the death of uncle Eddie. He always put a smile on my face whether he was telling a story about family or the fire department. He was a great friend to dad and I'll always treasure my memories of Uncle Eddie. God Bless him and Brian in heaven, and the entire Riley family.

Elaine, I know there are no words. Just know that my heart goes out to you because I know all too well of the loss of the love of your life. Ed was a wonderful guy and one of Vince's closest friends, and I know that if it's at all possible, they are together with Bobby Bowman and all of the men of E 5,L6, talking about the old days. Please try your best to take care of you, now, and until I see you again, Elaine, May our God hold you in the palm of His hand.
