Father Ed was a loving and kind spiritual director. He helped me through the most difficult time in my life. I will never forget the times we laughed and prayed together. Rest in peace dear friend.

Fr.Ed was a great family friend who was a blessing to our large family. We enjoyed many celebrations at our home in Pittsburgh. Also went on many missions with him as a teen with my mother supporting his dedication to helping the poor. Always with lots of laughter (with him and his brother Fr. Joe). A man of god with a deep faith and a great spiritual influence on everyone he met. He baptized my son Adam who is now 31. Will miss you. RIP Fr. Ed. Love from all the Hodges.

Fr Ed celebrated our wedding mass in 1997. He was a beloved friend of our family as well as served with my parents during MANY marriage Encounter weekends/events. I have fond memories as a child growing up with Fr Ed taking part in family dinners at our home and celebrating mass for us in our home. As a young adult, he inspired me to be a thinker, and ponder so many concepts in preparation for adulthood. He will truly be missed by our family.
