EDYTHE J. (nee Purdy), July 23, 2015. Loving mother of John J. III "Jack", Marianne Bock (Bob), Jeanette Maliszewski (Ken), Bruce (Kathleen), Christine Grant (Michael), Stephen (Leslie) and the late Rosemary Barras. She is survived by many loving grand and great grandchildren; her brothers Donald and John "Jack" Purdy and nieces and nephews. Mrs. Barras spent many years volunteering her time at Archbishop Ryan H.S. Relatives and friends are invited to her Viewing Sunday Eve. 7-9 P.M. and Monday 8:30-9:30 A.M. at BURNS FUNERAL HOME, 9708 Frankford Ave. (so. of Grant Ave.) followed by her Funeral Mass 10 A.M. at St. Katherine of Siena Church. Interment Sunset Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory to Archbishop Ryan Alumni, 11201 Academy Rd. Phila., PA 19154 would be appreciated.
