I knew Betty when she and I both worked at Friends Hospital many years ago. (Anyone that worked at Friends hospital will confirm that it was not like working anywhere else. The staff were very close to each other and stayed for many years) And so we had a bond. I left Friends hospital and moved and lo and behold one day walking my dogs down the street I came upon my old friend Betty Dieckman. We were now living in the same neighborhood. We came upon each other frequently always having a friendly chat. I will miss her each time I pass her house. My sincerest condolences to her family.
