Dear Larry, Chris, Meighan, siblings of Larry, other grands and great-grands;
I percieve death as a permanent loss of a beloved and we grieve because we do not want to let go of the person we love so very much. They help fill the spaces in our soul and in our day. There is no doubt that this dear lady is rejoicing in Heaven at the right hand of our Lord, Jesus.
I know, Larry, what a loving man you are (despite the gruff exterior) and I know how much effort you put in to making sure your mama was nurtured, nestled and cared for. Meighan and Chris, gather those pictures and cherish those memories.
Sadly, I do not know the rest of the family well, if at all. Along with Larry, Chris, Meighan, and Sandy, you will remain in my thoughts and prayers.

Dear Kate, Dee, Billy and Larry,
I received the news today of your dear Mom's passing into the arms of the Lord.
Remembering her, I can hear her laugh and see the great smile. Your Mom is a key player in my good memories of childhood on Alden Street.
Memories of her seeped into my thoughts today -- of Aunt Bet singing in kitchen with us, of sitting at the kitchen table with her and Kate while Aunt Betty snapped beans into a bowl for dinner -- on and on. She was a dear Aunt to me (by choice not by blood). I love her and am so grateful to have been loved by Aunt Betty. God bless all of you. I will remember all of you and your dear Mom at Mass tomorrow morning.

We considered Aunt Betty as our second Mom after our own mother died. We will miss her so much. Her life was an inspiration to all of us. She will never be forgotten.

To the Doran Family: I don't think any of you would remember me. I was a friend of you mom and your brother that passed away years ago. I am so sorry for your loss. Betty was a beautiful lady and a special person that I have not seen for years. I feel so bad about her passing. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
