Eric Goldberg Obituary

Goldberg Eric Jay Aug. 6, 1949 - June 10, 2025 Dr. Eric Goldberg, a dedicated General and Vascular Surgeon, passed away June 10, 2025 at the age of 75. A graduate of Villanova University and Temple University School of Medicine. He enjoyed a successful career for 30 years in Palm Beach, Florida where he played a key role in establishing life-saving organ transplant practices. He is survived by his wife, Charlotte Goldberg; stepson, Max Millstein; son, Jonathan Goldberg; daughter, Robin Roberts (Brad); granddaughters, Romy and Jaime Roberts and Sister, Debra Goldberg. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Shirley Goldberg. Dr. Goldberg was laid to rest on Friday, June 13th, 2025, at El Camino Memorial Park-Sorrento Valley, in San Diego, CA. He will be remembered for his surgical brilliance, compassionate spirit and the many lives he touched. Donations may be made in honor of Dr. Goldberg to Doctors Against Forced Organ Harvesting (DAFOH) at: www.dafoh.org

Eric was a surgery resident, and I was an internal medicine resident at Abington Memorial Hospital. We stayed in touch over the years until COVID took a big bite out of life. He was a good friend.
