Still in my heart..."what's the action?" :)

Jake loved America---and Jake exemplified all of our country's greatest values and traits. He served our country proudly--and extended his service to the very end of his time with us. His generosity of spirit was exceeded only by his loyalty to his chosen causes. I was so fortunate to be a recipient of the gift of his loyalty. There was no task that he would not do if asked. His enthusiastic endorsement was literally worth thousands of votes. Jake's smile, his friendly slap on the back and his words of encouragement always lightened our load and lifted our spirits. To Jake's devoted wife and family, we thank you for sharing him with all of us. I know personally of the many days and hours that community duties called him away from you. But his heart was never called from his love and devotion to you. We mourn his loss, but celebrate his life. To this great patriot, friend and supporter we say thank you and may God hold your soul in His hands for all eternity

Psalm 90:10 says that the days of our years are 70 years, And if because of special mightiness they are 80 years.
May the memories of the wonderful times you shared together bring a smile and joy in your heart.

When I think about all of the people that have influenced my life and all of the books and thoughts that have shaped the decisions and actions I've taken over the years, It's difficult to find many people as influential as my dear Uncle Jake.

His spirit for family, others and a better way of life for his community were a living tribute to the good in mankind. As an uncle his love for me was evident, always encouraging and making me feel special I always felt he had my back and was looking out for me to gently guide me and encourage me as I found my way through life.

His love for my dear Aunt May and his children rival my own fathers and was a pillar for me to look up to as I built my own family.

I will miss him very much in this life, however he's one of those folks that you know is making the next place a better one. Therefore, I lift up his spirit to Jesus as it now takes all of the good things to heaven and rejoices with those that have gone before him.

Much love, and tears of joy to my wonderful Jacob family and please know that I am here for you during this time and during the transition that is to follow.

Love, Anthony

I loved when he came in to the bank, he would always put a smile on your face. He would always have a good story.. Jake would come in and buy up all the 2.00 bills so he would have enough for his grandkids which he adored and love so much. Jake will be dearly missed. So sorry for you loss My prayers go out to his family and friends.

Jake Jacobs is synonymous with Woodbury Heights. He was a gift to this town and its citizens whether adult or child. He did so much for the WHAA and served our community well on Council. Every time that tent goes up on West Jersey Avenue for any kind of service we will think of him. Our prayers go out to Jake's family during this time of loss and we thank you for sharing him with all of us.

I am so happy that I had the chance to get to know Jake. It's no wonder the baseball field was named after him-such a wonderful man. The borough meant so much to him and he meant so much to the borough. My condolences to his entire family. Thank you for sharing Jake with so many people.
