Everett Peter Mason Beauregard Obituary

Beauregard Everett Peter Mason It is with greatest sorrow and heartbreak we announce the death of our extraordinary son, Everett Peter Mason Beauregard. Everett was shot and killed while walking to his home in the city that he loved, after a night of trivia and gaming with some of his most cherished friends on Sept. 22, 2022. Everett was born in Paoli on October 9th, 1998 to Eric and Leslie Beauregard of Malvern. He came in world unexpectedly, two months before his due date. We have been blessed with surprises from him ever since. Everett leaves a tremendous gap in his community – both in Malvern and Philadelphia. While a student at GV, he participated in United States Geography Olympiad, National History Bee, Quiz Bowl, Varsity Cross Country runner and Winter track, and the Denmark exchange program. He was a member of the Boy Scouts and camped many summers. He also played baseball with Chester Valley Little League from T-ball through Big League. His fondest memories of those last years of baseball was the spirit of the team, as evidenced by the team banter and engagement throughout the games. Everett loved nature, being outdoors and hiking the many trails in the area. Hawk Mountain was one of his favorite places. Ev was an avid birdwatcher and could identify a large quantity of birds. Many summers, with a team of friends, he would participate in the World Series of Birding, a birding competition where participants try to identify the greatest number of bird species throughout the state of New Jersey, over a 24-hour period. His team often placed top in their age group. Everett was a National Merit Scholar and studied Political Science at Temple University completing most of that course of study in three years. As a Junior at Temple, Everett was trained with the Organizing Corp 2020. This prepared him for work on the 2020 presidential campaign as an organizer. This campaigning experience was preceded by work on two other local campaigns – Congressman Brendan Boyle and Representative Kristine Howard. Ev's candidate won in all of the campaigns he worked on, something that made him particularly proud. Everett did an internship with Philadelphia Youth Basketball and felt a kinship with the organization as he had just picked up community ball playing in the neighborhoods where he lived while in school. Additionally, in his free time, Everett loved to spend time with his friends at local establishments for trivia nights or seeing musicians perform. He recently saw his favorite band, Los Campesinos! Everett was a National Merit Scholar. He was employed by Wells Fargo in center city and recently made plans to start on his MBA in the winter term. Everett touched the lives of many in a life cut too short. His friends were his world and he moved to the city so he could spend more time with them. Everett is survived by his parents, Eric and Leslie and his sister Ashleigh and the cat he considered his son, Giannis. MAUGER GIVNISH in Malvern has been entrusted with funeral arrangements for Everett. All those touched by his senseless loss are invited to Visitation and companionship on Thursday evening from 5:00-8:00 P.M. at the MAUGER GIVNISH FUNERAL HOME, 24 Monument Avenue, Malvern, PA. And Friday morning from 10:00 -11:00 A.M. at St. Francis in the Fields- 689 Sugartown Road, Malvern PA. I traveled with Everett during the Denmark Exchange at Great Valley, and we both chose to go to Temple after graduation. I´m still in shock, and I´m so sorry for his loss.

I played on a quiz bowl team with Everett once back in 2017. So awful that he wound up dying this way.

Heartbroken, devastated by this news. Everett was well known to us as our son Julian´s good friend. He adopted the stray kitty we found and gave him lots of love, and a home. We send our deepest, heartfelt sorrow and condolences and appreciation for his life to the family, and hope an outpouring of love will give moments of easing of grief. Sending much love to the family.
